Top 10 Ways to Identify a Gardener

The tan on their arms ends at their wrists. (garden gloves)
The tan on their back starts at the bottom of their shirt and ends at the top of their shorts
They walk around with rubber pads velcro’d to their knees.
The tan on their legs starts at the rubber knee pads and ends at their ankles. (socks - hopefully with shoes and not sandals)
The pouch on their belt carries pruners, not a cell phone.
Garden tools are oiled and meticulously maintained - car just hit 20,000 miles between oil changes.
Bumper sticker that says “This car stops at all garden centers”.
Sign in back of car window says “Back off - Perennials on Board”.
Sign on their lawn says “Beware of Soaker Hose”
Their concession to this spring’s fashion trends is green rubber boots as opposed to basic black.
