I know, I know, it’s only been what, a month since I posted with such great excitement about the purchase (on sale at that) of my Canadian Tire Pergola. Well, it’s finally built and man it’s gorgeous! As most females do, I read the instructions before starting, then as most people do, I sort of followed them. Actually, I followed everything to the letter except for one small item. The assembly instructions clearly indicated that at least four or more people were recommended for a safe assembly. I chose to disregard that recommendation and did the job by myself. Slowly, carefully and with the assistance of bungee cords, I pieced it all together.
By no means am I suggesting that this was the proper way to go about it, I’m not and I usually go by the book, but I am not known for my patience and once I made the decision to do it, I wanted it done immediately. Oh yes, as a member of today’s society, I’m all for instant gratification.
Several hours out of my afternoon/evening et voila! a beautiful pergola for my personal enjoyment. Just in time for rain tomorrow!
