Aren't they pretty? Another one I planted last fall was Salome. They bloom white and after a bit, the cup turns apricot colored. Your tulips look like some I used to have called Artists Tulips (or Parrot Tulips). It's not "unthinkable" to pick them. Sometimes, it's the best thing to do! :-) I planted ice follies, too! Your tulips look like some I used to have called Artists Tulips (or Parrot Tulips). It’s not “unthinkable” to pick them. Sometimes, it’s the best thing to do! :-)
