Plant spring bulbs; add bonemeal and water well.

I plated some of the most gorgeous irises. I can’t wait to see the flowers! Is there a way to morph past winter? ;-)

Cathy, What a great idea about geraniums. Because you are so much further north than I am, I take it the hint will work for me, too! I tried turning them upside down in my basement last winter, but they died. I have a lot of work to do these next few days. It was rainy today, though. I especially like your last suggestion. It’s so beautiful these days!!

Hi Fern,
If there was any truth to the saying, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way” I would somehow have managed to skip many winters. I guess the force of my will just can’t compete with Mother Nature’s. Let me know if you find a way!

Hey Shady,
I’ve lots of projects on the go still too. Saturday was a gardening day, but Sunday and Monday were mostly about having fun. We’ve had the most amazing weather this long weekend. (Canadian Thanksgiving) Took our own advice and went on a hike Sunday between the main course and dessert, then did a big bike ride today. Trying to cram in as much outside time as possible before the weather turns cold!

Love the to-do list - thank you! Lists are always helpful because you can go down and see if you’ve missed anything.

Gen,

Even with lists there are still some items that get forgotten. This fall I’ve simply run out of time. We’ve had a bit of snow already and I still have leaves to rake!
