Gardening has been a passion of mine for about eight years now. Coincidentally, that was when I moved into my first house and had my own yard. After years of being dragged around to different garden centers by my mom, I was venturing out on my own. Breaking ground, putting together plant combinations and caring for numerous beds all seem to have become second nature. I think it’s in the genes. Mine were just a little slow in developing. Once triggered, however, they took off. If I’m not working on my own projects, chances are I’m working on someone else’s.

2GreenThumbsUp was created for the purpose of sharing adventures about gardening and backyard living, reviewing and recommending interesting gardening and backyard living products (green whenever possible), and to attempt to raise awareness of and promote green practices in other areas of everyday life.
